Initial Oral Examination

Your initial oral examination includes a review of your medical and dental histories and a chance for you to share any concerns you may have. Then, we will perform a complete examination of your enitre mouth including teeth and soft tissues. We will do an oral cancer exam, a TMJ (jaw joint) evaluation, and an occlusal (bite) examination in addition to a thorough evaluation of your existing restorations and the condition of your teeth. Your gum tissue health will also be evaluated with a complete periodontal probing. We will take digital x-rays for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth. We may also take photographs and impressions if needed. The results of your exam will be used to make a diagnosis of your dental health and treatment recommendations will be discusssed. Together we will create a treatment plan specifically for you.

Comforts and Conveniences

We strive to make each visit to our office a comfortable and pleasant experience for you. In addition to our friendly and accomodating team you will find that we will go out of our way to attend to your needs. A neck pillow, a warm blanket, protective safety glasses...we even have a massage chair for you to relax in if your muscles are achey!
